Sujay offers a source of inspiration for everyone, but especially for us teens.
Why is he so inspirational, you ask? Well, yes, he’s really smart, but that’s merely one of his dozens of admirable qualities. Sujay talks about finding his own road despite the pressures to do what everyone else thought was cool. But beyond this, Sujay recognized the need to take risks to succeed. He combined what he loved with courage to create the ultimate recipe for success.
In this video, Sujay talks about how, at a young age, he emailed 300 professors in the New York area (where he is 
from) about coming to work with them. He received 4 responses – 3 of which were blatant denials. But, Sujay’s story reminds us that all it took was one yes, despite the other 299 ‘no’s to continue on in hopes of achieving his dreams.
Sujay reminds us that it takes the courage to ask to receive an answer. While you might face many ‘no’s, you might just get one yes that could change everything. Whether it’s about being courageous in making a new friend, requesting more help from an intimidating teacher, or trying for more responsibility and trust at home… remember to find that inner strength to simply try.

So, perhaps a good challenge for today would be to pick one aspiration you have- as big or as little as you choose, and you find the courage to take a step to pursue it. Why not use today as the opportunity to lay down a foundation for success?
